Filling up spare time~ What should i do?

*Sigh* Just like my title implies, i HAF to pick up something to fill up my spare, i mean ALOOOT of spare time yaar? Still lazy to go around and look for a part time job.. and some of my friends are pestering me to go find one to fill up my free time. I mean, i WILL find a part time job.. sooner or later i mean XD but for now? I'm still at home downloading my weekly anime off the net and watching it in content for an hour or two..

This is how i spend my time? hehehe~

My trip to Wetworld hot springs, pedas was fun, but unfortunately the pics are all in my mom and dad's fon, since i didn't bring my own fon on that day.. Too lazy to take care of it and haf fun in the water at the same time, ^^.

Just finished 24 epsds of Kanon. Feeling VERY down to earth now, since the anime was set wif a time frame of the present. Touching at the end, but a whole lot funny through out the anime. Well, not VERY funny till u laugh ur heart out, just everyday scenes that we take for granted with our friends whenever we meet. Think about it! We just take for granted that whenever we take to a friend, one has to know the right action at the right time?

Laugh when they laugh..
Pat their back when they feel down..
Smile and feel happy when they achieved their goal..
Give consolation when they are frustrated..
Share the good times together..
Know each other's faults and accept them..

Giving each other unfailing support in times of need..

Well, truth be told i'm not really a "close friend" kinda person. Never really believed in the "close friend" relationship thingy. Explanation? Well, let's just say i had a bad childhood memory and it is kinda.. ok, REALLY hard for me to trust sumone, and i'm kinda sure thhat i haven't done that in awhile.. Sure i've had my "best friend" moments when i was small, but never had a "true friend" before. Someone to just sit down and listen. Someone who is able to comprehend what u mean without u saying it. DATS a true friend.

The difference of a "best friend" and a "true friend"? let's discuss that shall we?

For example, a friend calls u up and invites u to hang out at the mall, and you come up with a lame excuse that u suddenly have a stomach pain and rather stay at home... but ACTUALLY your pet cat died and you're feeling very upset..

A "best friend" who just shrug at you and say if u don't want to go, you can just say it you know?

A "true friend" would detect that something's wrong, say its fine, dun worry about it and says that we can meet up another time. He/She would call back later to check up on you and see if there's anyhing he/she can help with..

AND THAT! is the difference between a "best friend" and a "true friend"...

Wow~ funny i typed all that without thinking. Maybe its just sumthin that i've been unconciously been thinking about, and not voicing it out just made me type it all out, allowing the dam of thoughts just wash out without any obstacles.

Though it would be nice to have a "true friend", the fear of losing such a friend is painful. Hey, don't look at me, dats what others haf said, i'm just a person who doesn't really go AFTER friends, but rather a person who watches from the shadows, and determine if such a person can be trusted, and if so, how long? There, u noe abit more about me ^^ piece out~

Results? Life? Direction? *sigh*

Ok, its been like over a week since my last blog eh? gomene XD *nod nod*
Been down with sore throat since last saturday.. After dat, the usual cycle of sickness.

After sore throat => fever => flu => cough

Currently at the last stage, yippie for me eh? feeling up to it, and MUUUUCH better so i decided to log on for today ^^
As for my results, i'm sure u read my brief comment at my very own cbox ^^ Glad to say i qualify for MBBS program, in fact, ALL programs at AIMST wif my results *banzai!*
There i was happily getting my documents all ready to be submitted to the AIMST kl office at SS15 (in front of Taylors college) and was wondering when they would actually CONFIRM my seat at AIMST for the coming intake of MBBS (august)

YOU KNOW WHAT? With setting the closing date for application at the end of Febuary, one might assume that the one's entry to ta programme may be comfirmed by the next month or so. It seems AIMST is a university wif one-heck-of-a-slow-administration because they will take almost SIX MONTHS to confirm our seats! (MIND! DATS AROUND THE 1ST WEEK OF JULY)

Heck! Dats's like only a month away from the start of the course! Even Monash University starts their MBBS 2 months after their closing date for application.. Look and see what's the difference between an EXPERIENCED university and a LOUSYSHITTYCRAPPYGOODFORNOTHINUNIVERSITY! (see if u can read that! hehe~)

On the + side, my dad is coming home soon ^^ after 2 weeks being away, one starts to miss ya? (all those at AIMST, this is also directed to u hehe) i'm so bored, i'm barely doing anything but just clearing stuff up around the house. No time to even switch on the computer ya? haha..

ASIDE wif the DEPRESSING news.. anythin nice lately? haha, well, been starting to work on my piano againafter god-knows-how-long.. might even continue my past time drawing and start wif colouring techniques.. ALSO work on my photography skill haha. Haf to carry my old 3Megapixel Sony cybershot as that's the only "proper camera" as hand phones dun count as cameras XD

Well, will update soon i guess (wif pics XD next time, promise) will be going to a hot water spring sumtime in the coming week, not sure when, but soon!

Meeting wif friends!

BEFORE you think of any wierd story on why my hair just fell off for sum reason, it is a VOLUTARY ACT OF CUTTING MY HAIR REALLY SHORT YA? For a full story, chat wif me on my msn XD

HEY! i'm bright and cheerful! Dats right, results are came out and they are packed into "little envolopes" and heading down my way! look like i have to check my mail box everyday to see if there are any letters from AIMST..

After a long break from AIMST a few of my friends decided to meet up last week. AND SO! after much deliberation and planning (quite a few of them ditched out at the last moment) we decided last minute (talk about planning eh?) that the 4 of us who turned up would head toward the "zoo negara" area and go for paintball... Heck a 2 v 2 paintball match? sounds like fun XD

We met up at Kl central and took the lrt to Melawati area... From there we took a cab toward the club house that had the paintball arena. Once we were prepped up and ready to go, we donned the helmets and the gun, and we are ready for a photo shoot XD

There we go! All ready to begin shooting at each other with paintballs, which for ur info is whoozing around at a speed of around 270km/hr.. Ouch... (FROM THE LEFT: Ravin, Joey and Sashdev)Myself in front of the camera.. We found out that the RM35 we paid only covered 100 pellets and a mask protector.. There was nothing to protect our shirts from getting hit by paint! There was no VEST! SO we scheemed and came up wif a brilliant idea. Use the black rubbish bag as a vest! We took a bag, and cut up holes for our head and arms, and VOILAA~ we are all ready to go!

So, the result of our matches of 2 v 2 (joey and ravin vs me and Dev) was a draw, 2 matches to 2 matches..

Front view.. Back view..A miracle happened.. NO ONE was shot on the chest. BUT they got shot in the head and the legs. not expected ya? BUT we did get shot ya? and so, we recount the injuries..

1st up me.. got shot once at the ear, once in the face and once at the leg.

Next is Joey.. got shot at the head twice and once on the leg.

Then theres Dev, who got shot at the head, if i'm not mistaken.. 3 times?

AND the great hero who only got shot twice, Ravin! But they, those were PAINFUL shots ya? shot them myself XD I crept up behind him and lst loose 2 shots from point blank range.. lets say.. 2 feet? XD man did that hurt.. SORRY YA? but you deserved it for letting me slip behind you, hehehe..

After that, we took the LRT back to Berjaya times square and caught Pink panther 2 at the movies.. The wierd thing is, i bought the ticket and my food at the 3rd floor. BUT my movie theater was situated at the 1st floor! We were like 5 minutes away from the start of the movie when we found out! Cursing and swearing, we ran towards the cinema. The movie wasnt so bad, but the 1st part was much more enjoyable..

Thats about it about my last week ^^ Look forward towards my next post which will be about my results of my Foundation in Science at AIMST.. Can't wait for the letter to come.

Langkawi trip for CNY

Before i start off, GONG XI FA CAI! (belated XD)

We went off on a flight towards Langkawi on the 23rd of Jan, Friday. Plan was to come back on the 27th of Jan, Tuesday..

So, we got ourself a rental car.. AND since there were 6 of us, we took a Nissan SERENA as a "transportation device" (moving around laaa~)

There isn't must to see at Langkawi. For starters, this isn't the 1st time we've been to Langkawi. If my memory serves me right, my family has come to Langkawi for at least 6-7 times already. Yearps, uneblievable? believe it~ (how come that phrase seems so familiar? XD)

So, the 1st stop was this place called "Beras hitam" literally meaning "black rice" I'm not really sure how the story goes, but i think it has sumthin to do wif the Siamese coming to attack and in order for them to avoid the rice to fall into enemy hands, they buried the rice and l8r it got burned.. Here was where they said the rice was actually buried originally, before it got scattered and became less obvious. To enable all others to actually have a glympse of the original "burnt rice", they put it in a glass casin in a plate for all to see.. Personally, i don't really think it looks like rice.. Decomposed rice maybe? Well, it has been sometime ago right? XD

We also went shopping for some "necessities" during our stay at Langkawi.. Fresh water, sotong kering, fruits, drinks, snacks... the usual~ Grandma and mom had to take a look at the stuff they had along the way, making our shopping trip a little longer everyday.Then we also took the chance to visit the "Pasir hitam", or also known to me as "the black sand?" Is there such thing as the purple sand? how about green sand? Didn't really matter right? but hey, since it IS one of the hot spots at Langkawi, we went to take a look.

We walked around the beach, and saw the "black" sand. It looks more like some oil leakage contaminant that got washed up on the shore. Weee, 4 foot on the black sand..Felt like posing.. Just me~ You know, looking cool~ hehehe.. OF COURSE, when u go to an island, you HAVE to go to the beach! yay~ When you see sand.. and you see a hole... THEN u see ur brother standing beside it.. what do you do? *evil grins* BURY HIM ALIVE!!!

hey~ i'm the only one who would do it right?

So, we waited for my bro Faiz to go into the hole, all calm~ (good boy)Then WE PILE SAND ON HIM! MUAHAHA~ Then, he tried to get back at me when dad was snapping my pic for the blog... Cheapshot~ Of course i l8r let him have his revenge on me, and he and my mom buried me and me small bro. Mom and dad, who just watched us get ourselves wet with sea water and just sat and watched us. On the last day at the beach, we managed to get this beautiful sunset.. I didn't bring my fon, i had to use my dad's.. Oh yeah, when we moved around, we spotted this light house which looked kinda antique. So just for fun, heck, take a shot XD There's also the food~ not complaining.. for the 4 day stay at Langkawi, i managed to eat my share of seafood which i missed for the last 1 year where i was seafood-deprived~ It was so good, i had no time to take a pic XD

Although i did snap a few pics of us eating tandoori chicken and stuff for dinner before we went back.. That's about it..

Since i'm dead bored at the moment, will try and get a job.

Part-time of course, aiming for a gaming-laptop before i get back to AIMST by august.

Speaking of AIMST, there's a rumour going around that the exam results will be out early August OR end of this month..

Heck man, why does it take them soooo long to just go through a set of papers? AND there are a FEW lecturer's involve, not just 1.

To top it off, we were the smallest badge of foundation that year, less than 80 students.

I wonder how'll they face the next exam for the Aril intake.. about 250 students i believe?

I'm lazy to update at the moment XD just lazing around doing nothing seemed like a geat idea at 1st! but know? *sigh* i feel like going back to AIMST and continuing my degree programme... Missing friends from AIMST and the constant chatter. Especially the loud and noisy singing in the shower my my roommate (do you know who? hehe)

Let's flashback abit yeah?

When we just came into Foundation in Sciences, we all barely know each other.. there were around 80 of us and 2 classes were formed. The quiet and more disciplined class of Jan08 A1 and the more rebellious and noisy class of Jan08 A2. Those were the hard times, i mean, barely knowing anyone and stranded at an almost "kampungish" area. For me, it was kinda like joining a real life "survivor" season set at Semeling, Kedah, Malaysia... How bad was that?

Then there was the traditional incident whenever i go to a new place, people thinking i'm chinese.. Can't blame u guyz, i DO look kinda like a chinese. BUT after 1 WEEK and when i'm wearing my RED baju melayu on friday, people STILL think i'm chinese..

Reason? "oh, that guy? *points at FantasiZer* he's chinese lor! so obvious! He wearing that RED traditional thingy mah!!!" Swt... I'll always remember that comment, hehe~

Even the lecturers didn't believe me, I should have took a photo of Mrs Priya and Mrs Viveca when they found out i was a malay... *looks into the distant and smiles* ~priceless~

Not to forget the warden who didn't believe i was the malay boy staying at room F2B.. She insisted i took out my student ID and IC to prove it.. lol.. Usually i would have found it insulting but hey, too used to it already by now..

Even the AIRPORT got it all wrong! Ok, the story goes like this..

There i was entering the airport 20 minutes before the flight (almost got rejected by the counter, and after much tears and begging, they let me on ^^) Then i rushed to the toilet to answer natures call when the speakers sounded off "Calling for passenger Mr faisal and Mr wong, please proceed to gate 10 for immediate bording, thank you~" *airport chimes into the distance* Rushing to gate 10 i pulled out my ticket to be greeted by the stewardess there..

"Good afternoon Mr Wong! Can i have ur IC for identification?" she said..

So i whipped out my wallet and showed my IC (Showing the name Faisal) and said "Sorry to disappoint you, but i'm Faisal... *sniggering on the spot*"

She just looked at me blankly for a few seconds and smiled...

~WIERD~ BUT its not the 1st time it happened right?

So long foundation!

Well, after a long journey this year, Foundation in Science has come to an end, and hopefully by this time next year, i'll be back for MBBS ^^ The weather up here has gotten very unreliable, raining almost everyday in the evening.. (unreliable, but more predictable) rainy season maybe.

Oh yea, my family made a surprise attack visit on me on Friday (12th dec) n due to dat, i couldn't attend the AMSA dinner & dance night.. Sorry guys, but hey, i helped out right?
The sales was a nightmare at first.. A preview on the ticket design? i kinda forgot to take a pic, but hey, found a pic in my fon wif leng holding one! And that night, we made our 1st RM60 by selling the 1st 2 tickets ^^
Huhuhu.. After that the big thing that happened was the personal farewell party held by

Jan08 badge ourselves on the night of 10 dec (wednesday) Everyone paid Rm10 and the food wasn't dat bad.. There was pizza and KFC up for grabs, not to mention the Pepsi.
AND since it the end of foundation, taking pics wif ur lecturers is a MUST!
So, i begin my quest to get my lecturer pics ^^

Since we bought 4 tickets, we were entitled to 50% off for 2 passes for leg spa at "god-knows-what-the-name-i-forgot" place XD Kenko spa i think, hehe

Kinda interesting u know? all the fishes there are supposed to nibble and take away all the dead tissues away.. AND SO! there i was wif eric scared to put in our foot into the aquarium, wif fear of losing a toe or two XD

There were 5 tanks in all, 1 tank: small size, 2 tanks: medium size, and 2 tanks:big size.. (sizes referring to the fish)
We went to the medium one 1st.. Eric was scared to put in his leg, so i went on 1st.. Not that bad, just ticklish like hell... Then Eric suggested we went to the BIG fish tank... Damn scary wei, alll of the fishes waiting, floating near the surface.. I got cold feet after that, and since Eric suggested it... AFTER YOU~ XD Looks scary, but the fishes are "teethless" and just suck away at ur leg and inbtw ur toes.. We moved on to the next tank, the small fishes which looked like the "sucker" fishes u see in aquarium shops.. kinda cute and the sensation was like vibrations around my leg.huhuhu, remember a certain sumone who schemed during Eric bday last post? well, apparently he was smiling for no apparent reason in the room.. kinda caught my attention, and so, there i was with my camera, snapping away~ What a perverted smile~ [look so "hum sap"]Still interested in what he was watching? "Looks" interesting hmm? So ok, here's a sneak peek.. STILL CANNOT SEE?
