21st burfday on the 12th of march 2010..

Hie all ^^ First off i would like to thank the countless people who haf wished me privately, via sms, and via FB. It is very touching.. and i noe i noe...

*claps and blows off imaginary candles*Aww, cute pic XD I used this pic last year on my burfday post and i couldn't resist putting it up again.. (dun believe me? go search up last years post, dated on this day XD) Its another year and i have legally turned into an adult, hurray for me?? Well, technically you can grow old, but growing up is optional! AND THUS! i'm still a kid at 21 ^^ go around poking everyone in class just for entertainment sake..

And guess what? today (on my birthday) there was supposed to be a paper on Ethics from 9-10.30am, but it seems the hall was taken up by another exam and the exam cannot possibly be recheduled to a later time as most of the students have already made arrangements to go back home by noon.. SO? They postponed the exam till after the hols, till further notice XD Totally the best burfday i hav yet in my life~!

Oh and did i mention? Yc's gf (Carmen)'s burfday was ALSO on the 12th of march, how kewl is dat? Its the first time i have ment wif sumone who has the same burfday with me! But she says i'm the 2nd person she has met wif the same date O.o looks like there are alot more people with the same burfday as me out there! *ponders at how big the world is*

11.55pm 11th march 2010, i was cutting pamalo at the living room (yes people, i cut my fruits and put them in the fridge.. is there sumthing wrong wif that?) which took me like almost for the past 20 minutes, i was cleaning the knife when i heard the door open. On instict, i turned around and held the knife aloft to see who was at the door.. To my surprise, ther were peopleS (many people XD) trying to come in and they started wishing me happy bday while attempting to grab me to the cafe.

Me + knife + sleepy + not-in-mood... not too good combo. They sang a burfday song, but made no attempts to come near me.. (they were eyeing the knife in my hand for some reason...) I said thnx and rushed to my room and attempted to close the door before they could lay their hands on me.. I failed XD

I put the knife away and accompanied by a charade of people, i was ushered down the stairs to the cafe where there were cake distributed around (Carmen's cake) They wished me as well and i was given a slice.. Barely able to open my eyes (sleepy then) i nibbled the cake down and thanked everyone for the sleepy ordeal.. XDThe "entourage" that made sure i came down to the cafe for a brief celebration... People were already there celebrating Carmen's burday Yc and Carmen on the right.. Should haf taken a pic wif her but oh well, next time? Random photos!!

With the heat and ano rain and stuff, the clouds and the lightings then to go haywire from time to time, but in a nice way too! I managed te get a whole bunch of beautiful pics since my last post (which was kinda empty and dreary due to my mood at that time) and ya, take a look~

This one was when I was walking wif Gordo back to the cafe for dinner after our run at the track... Ther's a small rainbow there actually, but it seems my fon wasn't able to really get the pic XD Nice try tho..
This was taken right outside the hostel at dusk as i was wondering the uni gounds in search of FOOD! (i ended up at the cafe XD) i was kinda hoping it would rain that night ^^ AND!! THE BEST! This was taken YESTERDAY *nods nods* when i was playing frisbee wif young and joey at the field.. I turned around and notice the streak across the sky and i HAD to take the pic ^^ Nice shot (clear defined pic i mite add, quite rare) Again i would like to thank all those that wished me for my burfday, and to those who haven't.. hmmm... You can still send be belated wishes, i wun get angry XD Well, better late than neva right? and i dun really expect EVERYONE to know my burfday (you can check on FB tho ^^)

The will.. To do nothing?

Examz are around the corner..(tomrorow actually) *sigh* what can we do? Even tho we haven't finished reading EVERYTHING we're supposed to and my reading is slowly slowing down to a crawl. I need a motivation to read i guess. We are ALL governed by the will to WANT something, no? Come on, dun deny it!?! Each individual strives and each action is derived on a single simple emotion of "obtaining" something.
When you like a person and feel like getting closer to be noticed by that someone, you go all out to be "noticed"...

When you are hungry and in an attempt to quell the uneasy feeling clawing at your stomach, you run down to the cafeteria to gulp down Jaya catering's food which you detest and yet have learned to tolerate under the circumstance of necessity...

Proven that the will to "want"something is quite a force to reckon with as anyone would do anything to fullfil that wishful thinking of obtaining one's wishes. BUT i have to point out here that altho i stand in awe in the face of this phenomenon, i have to equally point out that i do not approve of all the emotions that seem to fuel this wondrous and yet apalling act of "wanting".

Everything in this world can be seen 2 ways. In a good, positive outlook, or the gloomy negative prospect of an event. This applies as well to the emotions governs the effort to obtain something of one's desire.
For example, all i want in when living in a hostel is a clean environment, a comfy one if it is possible.. To achieve this, i have gone to great lengths to bring in a fridge (bought off frm a lecturer) a water filter and a rubbish bin for everyone's convenience. The wish to be more comfortable made me go to great lengths to achieve them, and yet it has been sullied and threatened by others..

There are people who can be inconsiderate at times, and what can you do but politely wait until the person/s notices that u r unnaturally quiet and asks if they are bothering you.. Sometimes they dun even bother and just continue what they are doing with a smile on their face..

"If you dun like something done towards you, dun do it at all around others.."

Friends are friends, just another person interacting with you in ur daily life..
