On the 8th of December 2007, i went to KLIA to board a 747 (flight MH0095) bound for LA.. Everything was goin fine while we were checking in our luggage, UNTIL!! we found out dat my dad didn't bring his old passport!!! *dramatic background* not a big deal eh? but the prob was that my dad's visa was in the old passport~!! so he borrowed a friend's car (who coincidently was on the same flight with us) to speed back home to get his passport and back again... By the time he got back to the airport, we almost missed our flight XD he was just about to get to the gate before it ALMOST closed him out, hehe..
Boarding flight MH0095, i figured, hey, its time to take out the camera!! Oh yea, did i mention we were goin in 1st class? *looks around* hey, its a family holiday after 8 years OK? Goin into 1st class, we had to dress appropriately right? and so TADAA~
Hmm i guess we kinda overdid it with the ties XD. AND to those who are not aware, 1st class seats are big enough to sit 2 ppl to eat together, and is able to convert itself into a bed.. I tought hey, since this is goin to be for my blog, why not show ppl how the 1st class seats look like.. 
As we touched down, we took a rental car.. wierd KIA car (yes they do have KIAs there) by the model name REDONDO (well i think that was the name) The temperature was around 15 degres celsius. The plan was to spend 3 days at Disneyland, 2 days at Universal studios, 1 day of shopping before goin off north to Lake tahoe (9 hour drive, scary~) We stayed at Dolphin's Cove inn, Anaheim.. around 5 minute drive from Disneyland. I haf pics, but its in the other cam XD sryAND SO!! the very next day we reached LA, we went to Disneyland.. It seems my dad bought all our tickets online!! (wow~ my dad's kinda computer savvy lately) so the queue was nothing as we just scanned out printed receipt for our 3 day pass to Disneyland. 1st morning we found Mickey mouse with his very loud, and noisy band walking past with their usual parade march..
we went around, trying out the rides available... until we were kinda hungry.. and GUESS WHAT? we found a MCDONALD stall!! wow, they really ARE everywhere eh? but sadly they only sell french fries.. but hey, its gud enuf for me ^^
(ps, the MCd stall is the caravan at the back saying WESTWARD HO~) Then we walked summore until we reached the Disney palace.. kinda nice so i took a pic with me mom.. CHEESE!! 
but they say it was much prettier at night. So i tought hey dats possible since they have light bulbs all over the place. I'm not sure since it was so blinding.. i took a picture so that u urself can decide if it was prettier at night.. Dad and small faris posing in front of the camera.
Not long after i took the pictures, the light went off and the FIREWORKS were on!! it lasted almost 10 minutes!! OMG so nice ^^ my camera was set to snap at any moment and i managed to catch this picture of the fireworks in the shape of the classic mickey sign...
The 2nd day at disney was pretty much like the 1st so, no biggie eh? just that mickey mouse didn't pay attention to the camera when i took his picture.. it resulted due to the fact he was signing sumone's paper.. (kinda mean mickey.. *shows fist*)
but the 3rd day? i had to go shopping for some souvenirs and we also went to the 2nd part of Disneyland (also known as the california adventure) This is the main reason faiz and me were looking forward too.. We got on this big pole thingy which launches u up to fall down really fast!! (i kinda forgot the name) but my mom got us on camera.. 
not really clear eh? Then we went on the ONLY roller coaster ride in Disneyland that is able to be called a roller coaster *winks* The name was "California Screamin".. 
After the ride (we went around 4-6 times XD) we went to eat.. i was feeling kinda "sweet tooth" so i bought myself a cotton candy.. Faiz just had to take a bite!! he admitted later it was too sweet to be edible.. (i had to finish it myself later hahaha) 
And so that was the end of Disneyland.. i got myself a small lightsaber keychain and a shirt (i'll be wearing around soon so i can show off hehe) it was about and hour drive to Universal studios, thanks tothe jam we encountered leaving LA (we passed beverly hills and hollywood, wow) When we arrived, i just had to take a few pictures yea? nice globe with the lettering UNIVERSAL STUDIOS around it...

There isn't much to take around Universal studios... we entered through the main entrance (is there any other entrances? XD) and we walked on the red carpet. I felt like a star!! *smiles and waves around* thank you~ thank you~

We departed for Lake tahoe and spend a night at Sacramento (2 hours away from lake tahoe) and the next day, BEHOLD!! LAKE TAHOE!! (btw its the biggest lake in north america, along the state of NEVADA) yea.. its beauuuuutiful eh?
We were staying at "Red Wolf lodge" which was a red crown resort (meaning you can only visit that place once every 4 years) mom and dad made this holiday possible after 3 years of planning (i know!! hard to believe eh?) Thanks lots mommy and daddy!!!
We reached the lodge and posed for the camera for a pic... The temperature was around 3 degrees celsius... for now XD
The snow was kinda hard.. dad said we had to wait for new snow to fall to experience "soft" snow XD We checked in (this place is linked to RCI) and found our unit..
It was small and comfy... AND it had a REAL FIREPLACE!! (forgot to take a pic of it) But hey, it was WARM in there.. After we overcame our initial shock of seeing snow for the 1st time, we played with it!! its was like playing with shaved ABC which no one was going to eat ^^
The next morning, our feet sunk into 5 inch of "soft" snow.. it was snowing the night before.. Reports were coming before the end of the week, they would have a total of 5-6 feet of "soft" snow!! that means snow blizzards are coming ^^ That means we had to get waterproof shoes with traction, or risk sinking into 1 feet of snow and getting soaked up to the shoe soles, hehe..We went to 2 places at Lake tahoe to skii... Diamond Peak and Mount Rose..
(Mount Rose... very steep hills for beginners XD) Skiing was kinda expensive sport... rentals were fine, but buying a complete set for urself might just cost you around $2.3-3k... Learning wasn't dat bad.. At Diamond peak, it took only 1 hour to learn for me and faiz.. In all the excitement, i forgot to take the camera.. this is the only pic i have of me on skiis ^^
Snow was coming really bad on the 2nd day of skiing.. Mom and Dad started skiing this day.. (Mount rose) mom kept falling and the last straw was when whe lost control and sped down the mountain before falling around 500m away XD she gave up after that (total time on snow, 2 hours) Snow blizzard was so bad i had to adjust the camera to snow mode to take picture properly... (SONY cybershot:old version no touch screen T_T) The temperature dropped to -1 degree celsius... *shiver shiver* dats cold man~
3rd day of skiing was cool.. Dad and faris FINALLY getting the hang of skiing and wanted to stay another 1 day, but hey, time to go home *sob sob* So, before we left, faiz and me managed to get a hold on a long icicle formed under the roof. Check it out XD Looks like me holding and ice sword, katana, whateva ur imagination can think off, hehe.
And so we left and reached back at LA on the same day (9 hours straight on the road is no mean feat i tell u) We made the night at some inn and got on the plane the next day at 11.30pm.. (but it got delayed, so 1.30 am) managed to get online awhile at the com at the gold lounge to kill time.By the time we reached KLIA, it was the 24th Dec 2007 at 4pm.. It was drizzling abit Christmad eve eh? Missing Nasi Lemak.. (had three of it the next day, XD) AND so ends the 2 week holiday.. Well, this is a summary of it, and i can't put up too much pics, so this will haf to do yea? Well, i gtg and get ready to go to university... 28th jan 2008 is when i'll be leaving. Don't worry, everyone still can reach me via hp (still the same num)

After prayers and a happy time with the family, we finally get to get to eat under the sunlight again after fasting for 30 consecutive days ^^ Just looking at all the rendang and the ketupat made my mouth water *salivating even now* Me small bro faris just started to feast on his own when we all sat together.. luckily i got the cam just in time~

but hey, what's more fun than eating again? its the DUIT RAYA!! so i got my 1st duit raya that morning.. tadaa~
After we feasted (very full XD) HOWEVER our trip back to Melaka was delayed until 3pm.. WHY u ask? my dad was ASLEEP FOR 4 HOURS!! The plan was for us to go down to melaka in 2 cars, as my dad wanted to stay at me grandad's place overnight and we (faiz mom and me ^^) had to go back to subang the next day as faiz had exams on monday.. we wanted to make sure we were not a victim of the usual RAYA JAM~ *winks* so.. Faris and faiz followed me dad in the van, while me and my mom (me driving, being her personal chaffeur) in the proton perdana~ we stopped at the ayer keroh stop to do some "business" since we drank alot XD
We reached melaka round 4pm, and guess what? its raining as usual on raya.. We went straight to me grandad's place (dad side) and left me dad ther after staying around (can't stay long). My uncle (pak long) trying to get me on cam.. but hey~ i'm fast too!! so i flashed him before he got to do anything "funny" to me hehe~ 
Next stop was my cousin's place.. (mom side) and i managed to take my cousins and me auntie in one pic (very rare!! since they run away everytime i take the cam out!!) 
oo missed one.. but faiz managed to get him to sit down for me to take the pic.. However, i can't seem to upload that particular pic.. maybe its just the site, or its the freaking computer (i'm @ me mom's office).. We got back home by 8pm, and had to prepare for our stay at Subang Jaya since we didn't want to take any risk of the car breaking down while commuting..

Yea~ that IS a very RELAXING sight.. Of course after awhile we had to go back in since it was still 3pm and the sun was scorching.. We got our rooms, and took the long walk along the corridor that looks-so-insanely-same-everywhere-i-look.. 
Once the sun went down, we went out to take in some "sea air" by the beach... AND BELIEVE ME it was what i needed.. Since terengganu was beside the South China sea, not many ppl are out doing water sports.. Kinda sad~ I SOOO wanted to go cannoe and jet skiing ^^ 
oh yea, DID YOU KNOW? Terengganu is also known as one of the spots where leatherback turtles come by to lay eggs, and apparently they're endangered~ There are centre where they actually take care of the eggs, but some are found by the locals and believe it or not, they EAT IT.. *sob sob* sad~ the eggs are found out, are really round and soft, REALLY different from a chicken egg... The hotel it seems was made in mind of the turtles.. and so if u observe properly, u can see tutle statues all over this picture... 
Mom, dad and me went out~ and had fun eating our heart out on keropok ikan (fish crackers?)... 
We got back on tuesday and almost died of exhaustion frm waiting in the car... BUT i had a surprise frm monash.. they rejected my application for double degree (biomed/biotech T_T) BUT i had a offer to do Bachelors in science in Biomedical science.. OK, i guess~ but now i'm aiming for Degree in Biomedical at Taylors College (i noe, back ther again XD) This is a 4 years course, 2 years at Taylors and 2 years at Queensland Uni, Australia.. like WOW.. that's something to look forward to..
Me eating a whole mouthful.. but hey, its not all about eating right? 
you haf to help open it up u noe? AND the MOST important part of eating durian, THE SO CALLED UNDEAFEATED, BREATHTAKING (probably true XD) KING OF FRUITS, you haf to drink lost of water!!! OR risk urself getting sorethroat/fever the next day 
and here i am, like an idiot, happily drinking water to my hearts content ^^.... Well, since Faiz has his AS examinations coming on, and faris has his big 3-day major UPSR exam (its only 3 days!! whats the big deal? mine lasted almost 2 months!!!) 
So, we rarely get to play computer nowadays.. Even me, although i am doing nothin at the moment, haf to CUT DOWN my time on computer to SHOW MY SUPPORT to my bros so that they are not sidetracked by the com.. This has resulted wif me playing ONLY when both my bros are out of the house. By the time they were done playing the com, they came downstairs only to find... 
What can i say? I ate TOO much durian and drank TOO much water... XD my bad.. well, can't blame a person to eat a gud stuff too much XD
Throughout the holidays, been abit lethargic. so i start working out on my stamina. 30 minutes on the bike with 8 resistance on, 20 pumping, 30 sit ups, dumb bell lifting (10 times x 4 sets), stuff like dat. Next step is to go cycling on the road around my housing area non-stop, dats around what? 5-8km?
I'm stuck at home, doing nothin but becoming my small brother's PERSONAL chaffeur (go tuition). My personal good friend, the computer, has become VERY reliable nowdays, since i updated all my coms to 1.25gig RAM (note the extra 1 gig XD). 
While my small bro (faris) is having his big UPSR examinations.. (so much for a 2 day test XD) soon, and now its his trial runs.. I kinda pity him..
He really feels the weight of the world on his head (he can't play his mapleSEA like me XD). SO, generally, MOVIES hve been my solace of late~ AND i have a few comments...
Wow its bee one long a lvls.. sry for the late posting!! camera sumthin wrong.. luckily i managed to get the pics out of the camera although i still can't figure out wats wrong wif it XD The theme of the nite of 24th june 2007 at JW marriote of kuala lumpur is "moonlight rendezvous".. not bad. Can't complain about the food.. (just that can't they serve just abit more? XD)
