Ultimate frisbee at AIMST

Yea it was fun XD A friend (young) and me passed the word around that a clinic for frisbee will be held at AIMST university field on the 28th jan from 5-7pm..

That was 2 days ago.. We expected a small group to turn up.. ok, maybe around 20 tops. Turns out word really got around, and we were looking at a group of over 50 people turning up to play frisbee!! Wow, so many discs flying around XD Unfortunately i didn't snap any pics at the field, but i haf a friend that snapped on his camera, so i will upload when i get the pics later on ^^

Soon we'll be formalised (hopefully) and be a club for real in AIMST ^^
We'll be playing frisbee every wednesday (since there are no evening classes then) and many people can join in ^^

Awaiting the unevitable~

Yo~ Its been awhile XD sry my dear blog, for i have abandoned you in your time of greatest need~ *sob sob* wth am i saying?, back to my blog post XD

I have to say that i am very much backdated with my revision lately.. (make it 1 week backdated and we can say it might just go on) I mean, the results that we all have been waiting for for so long (2 weeks is a long time ok?) has not been announced and we have no idea when and where the results will be posted..

SO, what have i been doing lately? Hmmm, let's see...
I have started playing fisbee for real now, i mean SERIOUSLY playing frisbee you know? not just randomly throwing the disc all around, but actually playing a sport.. Ultimate frisbee, heard of it? It actually kinda fun, and considering that i have been randomly throwing frisbee all my life, its actually kinda challenging to pass the frisbee to a running person while avoiding the other people who are on the ugly opposing team XD
Its fun~! ^^

It seems there will be a workshop on playing ULTIMATE frisbee this coming thursday, where an outside person will be coming to aimst for a little demo on how to play the sport properly.. (might just get a proper frisbee this time *winks*) but there will be english class from 5-7pm that day *sigh* let's just hope that the english class does not drag on too long and finishes as soon as possible ^^

Speaking of running around, badminton for 2 hours after almost 1.5 years of absence is a VERY bad choice XD learned it the hard way today.. Got up all ready for class, only to discover (to my horror) that i was unable to stay awake for class in the 1st 2 periods.. *sob sob* and to add salt to the wound, the ppt notes that i downloaded from the class desktop was incomplete.. meaning i left one of the ppt and i dun have it, so dat means i can't read back what i missed today T.T
Oh well, lesson learned, dun do anything that ur not used to over the weekdays XD
REMEMBER THAT~!

I'm kinda lazy to upload any pics ath the moment as anyone whu follows my blog will know that the internet here on campus is really kinda unpredictable... Sometimes the speed is blistering fast! BUT sometimes, *sigh* even a snail can reach the north pole by the time the home page for Facebook is loaded up on my screen.. I mean come on, why does it take forever for the internet to be reliable?

Omg, my headache is getting pretty bad.. looks like i'll catch some rest before attending English today from 5-6pm.. The language that we have been using since primary school is now being tested to see if we can actually use it for academical purposes. Looks like i'll have to bring a book or something later on so i won't die of boredom later..

hie all ^^ *stomach grumbles* just placed my order of grill dori fish fillet and teh tarik XXL jumbo! *salivates* Owh-MAH-Gawd.. Just trying to update my blog over the fon, and what do you know? It works ^^ i haf 2 say, typing on the QWERTY keypad is kinda fast, but its like totally different from typing on a keyboard no?

Ok, back to the story at hand.. Now we are all at le boss with a total of 3 cars filled to the brim with people!!

sry, but since my fon is abit cacat, i cannot see what i'm typing now XD will try to figure out how to solve this.. hey, give me credit, 1st time using fon to update ^^ tc all

Life's troubles..

Here i am again, worrying about what is coming to me for the next 5 days at AIMST, CA2 (short for continuous accessment 2) We had a 2 week "holiday" which was meant for studying instead of enjoying ourselves, and that made my journey back to campus so much harder.. Why couldn't they just let us finish off what we supposed to do and allow us some peace of mind? I feel like walking in the rain again..

Oh no, for that would be wrong.. It woudn't be the right way AIMST manages its academic criteria. They had to make everyone's life difficult and wallow in the mud for their convenience... What can i say? AIMST management has never been good, be it managing students in the "student affairs" department, or making them suffer by stuffing a student's head to the brim with facts that don't even make sense to us..

I once heard that Asian students are different from their western counterparts..
They are more matured and they actually understand what a questions asks before they start answering a question..
We Asians however take pride in our great "memory data space" that we somehow inherit from our ancestors and have retained the built up memory space that has developed in each generation... Remembering all the information and when the time comes, we simply "vomit" back all the facts that we were able to retain, and then we are graded based on one's ability to "vomit" out sheer quantity of information and the specificity one is able to "vomit" based on criterias we know as "questions" in an exam...

I don't really have anything great to type on this post, but i just felt i needed an outlet for the time being, since that i am unable to go out for sports or any other activity that i fancy.

I don't really care if i pass or fail this time round .. (to be honest, maybe i'll care abit) but for now, i just wish this test would end, for my only light that i am able to see seems so distant and far away..
Tears are just a way of letting my mind float free, unscathed by worldly matters..
but is all comes back in the end, where everyone has a role to play in the great sea of humanity..
My journey now continues with the one question that i still struggle to answer..

*peeks outside the window*
Fai sees a grp of people walking towards the cafe..
He looks a the clock and noted the time it showed with a comprehensive look on his face (the clock showed the time 11.58)
Shortly after (exactly 2 minutes l8r) fai hears a short roar of the crowd, letting him know that it is 12am sharp and the year is 2010.
Dismayed, he switches off his laptop and lies flat on the bed with the lights off.
In the dark, he turns to his side and reaches out for his fon on the table beside his bed and starts typing out this post on his hand fon...

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010 everyone ^^
its a new year so i'll le bygones be bygones..
But my attitude and perception of others i will keep, for it has safeguarded me frm people many times before..
