Bump on the head... (literally!!)

Hie all ^^ been neglecting my blog for quite some time.. Hey, dun blame me! there wasn't anything remotely interesting that would prompt me to switch on my com to log on to blogspot to crap on it.. and YES, with that said, i'll haf to admit that something has happened to me as of late that has made this post even possible to be posted up ^^

yearpZ dats me.. (story further down of this post) Exams are around the corner now, roughly about 3 weeks? maybe shorter, s tudies are now on at full tilt.. *Vroom, Vrooom, ful throttle!!* Anyways, back to case on point, the purpose of this post..

As the title of this post implies, i bumped my head... Oh, alright, it wasn't really a minor bump which we can just put ice and hope that the swelling would be gone in the next day or two.. No, it isn't that easy this time.. It all started on a simple nice tuesday when a friend (Romee, if ur reading this thnx so much again ^^) and i went for a swim at 5pm at the Aimst pool. Dropping into the pool, i noticed that my locker key dropped off sumwhere to the bottom of the pool.

Looking for it, i found it at the side of the pool (end side of the pool) and tried to fix te rubber band that acted as its holder.. The rubberband snapped and it flung the key out of the pool. Now get this.. With my goggles on, i propelled myself out of the pool to get the key, only to be knocked back into the pool wif a sharp shearing pain radiating from my head.. Tasting blood in the water, i opened my eyes which happen to close shut in response wif m y effort to blot out the pain.

Do you know those documentaries where u see cuttlefish squirt out ink when they try to escape from danger? This time, i see blood instead O.o

Lost you? Here's what happened, i propelled myself out without noticing that i was right beside a diving platform (yea, the ones where people dive from) and my head knocked on it.. hard.. (ouch~) Romee came over asking me if i was okay.. Apparently saying that ur fine while waving ur hand covered with blood (i was holding my head before that) does not convince others that u are fine.. AND SO, we hobbled all the way to the hosteller's warden office and it was arranged that i would be sent to Pantai hospital. How bad was it? take a look.. I was attended to by Doctor Taiwan Teoh, the general surgeon on duty at the time. He said i would need stiches (around 4-5) and i would hafto spend the night over for observation.. AND SO, i snapped away ^^ Thank god Romee was there as he tagged along with the Aimst van to make sure i was ok...

Eric, Audrey, Steph and Siew Voon came after dinner to see how i was doing. By the, i haf uploaded all the pics above onto facebook via the wireless i happened to detect at the ward, and i updated my status to ensure everyone knew what happened to me (attention seeking at work, courtesy of Gordon's influence XD) There were many people that called and smsed, thank you for ur concern..

But then again.. *nod nod* so true no?

Head's fine for now, will return back to the hospital next wednesday to remove the stitches. Apparently its fine for me to wash my hair, but i just haf to make sure that i dry the head properly ^^
With my head in its current condition and exams looming upon us... STRESS!!! This made me rofl.. Too bad we can't take the paper out of the exam hall, or i might just be tempted to do what the pic said XD

Happenings around me..

Lately there are things that happen around me that seem to be out of my control.. Come on know, you know what i mean? For example, when u want to go watch a movie and you bought the tickets already, only to struggle to find a car park and end up maybe 5 minutes late for the movie.. Inevitable stuff you know? As for me, it was the 2 days (monday and yesterday to be exact) that i ran all the way to the stadium, only to be unable to swim due to rain / absence of lifeguard!! KYAAA!!! If things go on like this, i am going to start swimming training properly and go for the lifeguard examination so i can swim at any given time i want XD

My house is in a mess.. well, technically speaking, the hall is in a mess... There are books, papers, trash not taken out, dirty clothes, unwashed water filter and shoes all over the place.. Apparently the only + side is the unwashed dishes occasionally in the sink which is the only house skill that somehow (unknowingly) retained from their home lives. Why can't they treat the house like their own home? Why can't they make the place clean and just do it without the mind set that "Ah, someone else will do it sooner or later" and that someone happens to be me... *sigh* What can i do? Can't help myself, i'm a clean freak.. Can't stand watching sumthing messy and dirty..

SO! in the end, i throw out the rubbish and by doing so i fulfil my self pride in keeping the house clean, only to have it soiled by another when i reach home after class or after dinner...

*sigh*

Oh well, and to top it off, today i went to the PC fair at Village mall back at town. Its a new place and its only the 2nd time a pc fair is being held at this new venue (it used to be the main mall of sungai petani, but village mall emerged the winner as a new cinema has just been constructed at village mall) and guess what? i helped 2 friends buy some stuff, no biggie... and i bought for myself a screen protector and a game controller for my lappie, and get this!! The stuff i bought for my friends were ok and they were happy with the stuff i bought for them. BUT i was definitely not happy with the stuff i bought for myself.. WHY?

REASON 1
I bought a new 15.3" screen protector for my lappie ^^ so happy only to find out that the screen of my lappie is actually 15.6".. WTF!! Either i go back tomorrow and hope they help me change, or i wasted RM15 on this thing, which i haf the option of cutting it into smaller pieces to fit smaller laptops at home...

REASON 2
I bought a RM28 game controller together with a gaming friend (Jit kin, FIFA ALL THE WAY MAN!!) only to find out that the 2 controllers are linked by a cord!! that means we can't seperate them!! OMG.. zzzz will go back there to hope that they will alow us to change the controllers into seperate ones...

REASON 3
I wanted to shop for myself a new aluminium cooler for my lappie, but it turns out that all the coolers on sale now are all single fan coolers. The only double aluminium cooler was way over my budget.. RM53 O.o overkill...

AND there you have it! OMG i nid to study.. way behind my schedule... will update when time permits ^^
