Longing for the rain...

Like the title of this post implies, I WAAAANT RAIN!! *rawr* Global warming must really be hitting an all high now since there is barely a day of rain every week...Aaaah.. the soft glow of sunset... *scratches head* but where is the rain?

*blows the dust off the main page* XD Looks like its been awhile since i posted anything up here.. Owh, and happy belated CNY? hehe...

To kick start this post, a random pic of flowers from a tree infront of the guy's hostel.

Today has been a quiet day as both my roomies are sumwhere at the moment, and they'll only be back here tomorrow. Another silent night alone i guess, not that it was noisy in the 1st place ^^

Exams are around the corner, CA3 and i am barely confident that i'll make the mark this time... There is just so much to read, and when i think about it, if i walk up to any random doctor now and ask him any questions in my powerpoint notes i can bet that they wun be able to even answer half of them (they fail?!? XD)
Point in case here is that in clinical, most of the cases will be different but then again, WE HAVE TO KNOW THE BASICS!! (so they say.. sigh~)

Went jogging yesterday with the the 2.5kg ankle weights that i managed to get pass the airport security.. Speaking of which, this is one story i just HAVE to tell XD

*Faisal arrives at the x-ray machine to scan hand carried objects and puts his personal belongings onto the belt.
As he walks pass the scanner nothing happens and he happily picks up his stuff, but notices the officer frowning as he looks at the monitor..

OFFICER: Ini bag kamu ke? (Is this your bag?)

FAISAL: Ya.... (bewildered at the moment)

OFFICER: Boleh tolong buka? (Can you please open it?)

*Shrugging, Faisal opens up the bag..

FAISAL: Ada masalah ke? (Is there a problem?)

OFFICER: (without looking into the bag) Tadi masa scanning, ada apa-apa benda segiempat tak? (During the scan, was there any square object in ur bag?)

FAISAL: Oh, you mean this? (pulls out the pair of ankle weights from the bottom of the bag)

OFFICER: Kamu ini sekarang buat ape? (What are you doing now?)

FAISAL: Harh? tak faham... (harh?? dun understand)

OFFICER: Kerja ke? Travelling ke? (Work? Travelling?)

FAISAL: OWH! Saya ni pelajar bang.. kat Kedah, hari ini last day holiday, so i kene balik campus *shows student ID* (I'm a student at Kedah. Today's the last day of the holiday so i have to go back to campus)

*The officer stares at the suspicious bundle

OFFICER: Tunggu kejap i scan sekali lagi...

FAISAL: *on the verge of laughing* ok..

*After the scan revealed that there were no explosives and whatever which may possibly be dangerous, he gave Faisal the "ok" to move on... Lol.. below are the weights in question... Looks like explosives no? XD

Wierd experience no? Haha.. well i have weirder ones which i will post whenever a related incident happens again ^^

Lab sessions are more concentrated on microbiology and abit on biochem... So we get to do cultures and stuff at the lab..

Speaking of my class, it turns out there are many "pro" peopl in sleeping in class. You can see all kinds of "styles" haha... here's one that really caught my eye..Haha when you want to sleep in class, you really have to learn from the best XD

Moving on, to a random pic that i took at my window one early morning during a weekend a while back.. Couldn't resist the close up pic ^^

Piece for now ^^ will update often as there is nothing to do other than reading and preparing for CA T.T
