Well nothing much happening in my life lately, besides building back my stamina and killing time at my mom's office.. I decided it was finally the time for me to catch the movie that i deemed is one of the WORST movies released this year so far~ Not only that, comparing to its earlier counterparts, this particular movie is getting worst by each sequel being released..
What movie am i talking about?
I am talking about this movie! Which i watched yesterday at TGV seremban at 9.30pm at cinema hall 5~

Ok i now that the cast and characters are all hitting their "teens", therefore, based on its counterpart (the book: Harry Potter The Half-Blood Prince by JK Rowling) most of the characters are starting to have feelings for each other and start pairing off~ Having said that, i was expecting all the snogging and holding parts as part of the movie.. But i was not expecting more effort put into the love scenes instead of trying to make the plot and character presentation a little more impressive.
Ok, that's find and dandy with me. HOWEVER! The plot and storyline of the story itself was adjusted, cut and some scenes were ADDED into the movie plot!
Ok, that's find and dandy with me. HOWEVER! The plot and storyline of the story itself was adjusted, cut and some scenes were ADDED into the movie plot! Once again i understand such actions.. It will be difficult to actually follow the book per se~ If they actually pull off a movie based on a book solely, with no add-ons what so ever, i'll pull my hat off to you! KUDOS! But in actual fact, there are barely a handful of movies that were able to pull off such a feat without any minor adjustments to enable the film to acomodate the film show time. So just to make it clear, i was expecting some adjustments to the film, as they cut out quite alot in the last movie.
AND, character presentation? As usual, the casts seemed to be struggling to give the appropriate expression and motions of the characters they were portraying, but NOTHING beats the character that i has always found amusing and abit out of place, our Albus Dumbledore (old bloke.. didn't occur to me how old Albus Dumbledore really is)
As for the movie overall? It runs for an amazing 2.5 hours, and i was amazed that i didnt sleep along the show! Maybe i was busy comparing the movie to the book content and i can gauge more or less what they added and what they chaged. Mind you, i have read the book at least 3-4 times! I pity those that hadn't read the book and just waltzed their way into the cinema. Those who did that have a 70% chance of NOT understanding the movie at all.
Therefore, this movie is NOT recommended to those who have not read the book at all... Ranking? out of 10? i'll give a 5 out of 10 for mere effort in graphic effects..
THERE! updated ^^ just something i randomly posted up since i watched it yesterday and i was itching to update on SOMETHING, haha.. There are more previous posts that i will update soon, but i have to find my daym fon wire *rawr* before i am able to put up relevant pics!
