Time flies without you knowing

Hie all ^^ its been awhile since I updated my very lonely blog XD Wanted up update as soon as I got back from holidays at campus, but as usual, the line was acting up and didn't allow me to access virtually anything except the fleeting glance of my usual web sites. *sigh* how depressing is that?

FINALLY when I managed to get the line for a short time, i glimpsed on a short MV at rey-chan's bloggie, and i was captivated by that short mv.. Amazing art work and simple music, which happened to be the anime's original soundtrack. Immediately jumped on my fon when i found out that i could actually get the video from BETAserver. Took the pain to connect to the server the next day and download the movie, which was in HD and was around 2.2Gb.. Omg right? But the wait worthit, fell in lurv with the art and the simple theme behind the whole animation.. What can i say? i'm a sucker for great graphics ^^

The title? "5 centimeters per second", literally referring to the speed at which a sakura petal would fall to the ground.. A profound meaning in the name i think. Not a kinda of title you would see in your everyday anime.

Typically, one would say this is a romance genre anime, can't agree more.. There was a good atmosphere injected into the atmosphere of the animation, making me feel like i actually emphatize with the characters..

Good byes are always hard yes? Oh well, never had friends that are close enough for to experience such feelings, so i guess they are kinda hard from what i heard~ But it is more of a one sided naration from different points of view as the story switches from one character to another

Take a look~ I fell in love with the sky background (currently set as the background of my handphone) The artwork seems so... *speechless*Being alone~ Is not really a bad thing. Rather have myself withdrawn rather then getting myself involved in things that seem so petty and important in my eyes.. The ending song "One more time, One more chance" by Yamazaki masoyoshi was amazing. It felt like the song actually captured the very essence of the movie itself. No other songs needed..

In the blues at the moment, feeling like the shade in which i am in will slowly envelope me in a light shower of rain.. God how i miss walking in the rain, as there is NO rain at campus for quite awhile now. Its the end of the yea, what happened to the rainy season? Oh yea, global warming, kinda forgot, the world is changing rapidly. Hope i can catch up~

2 papers more to go before CA finishes..

Yea.. today was declared a half day holiday for AIMST.. and guess what? My exam was scheduled from 2-4pm, which was on the 2nd half of the day.. It was officially announced yesterday at the end of our sociology paper that Epidemiology paper today will be cancelled. Both Epi and physio will take place after our 1 week break.. wierd~ Some people happy, sum people irritated.. I guess i'm somewhere in the middle ^^ But hurray~ for holidays XD

Hmm.. After the paper yesterday, and the news of the paper being cancelled, I just had to sweat it out.. Had my normal 8 round jog at the track and went out for dinner.. Sadly, no pics as I was kinda tired to parade around with my 3 Megapixel E71 fon camera. Nah~ the effort was not worth it. Had dinner at "Bites" nearby Old town coffee area. Anyone reading this blog and studying at AIMST should go there at least once.. The food there is not half bad *thumbs up*

I just had to upload sumthin on my blog, as i felt its been awhile since i actually updated it.. (even though it was barely 1 week ago i think XD) No one in the room currently.. Eric is having his physiology paper (he's dentistry, dun mix up) and should be back in about 5 minutes or so.. Joey and his "passengers" have pushed off about an 1hour ago. They should have passed Butterworth by now XD and to the many people who are busy getting ready to go home or have ALREADY left campus, HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND HAPPY DEEPAVALI ^^ (though i dun really know the exact date *ponders* I should go check it out)

Alot has gone though my thoughts lately ^^ Too much to actually type it out here now.. I have exceptionally tollerable housemates and my roomies seem ok at the moment, even though we may have our small qualms and disagreements, it is an unspoken agreement that the room should be clean at all times and the volume should be turned down when anyone is studying or sleeping.. how great is that? haha.. yea nothing much.. Just wanted to type out the thing that is going though my mind right now.

Might be going for a movie l8r on.. Pandorum and Surrogate, both movies look good. Will be off home tomorrow at 9am. Flight time at PNG is 12pm, so i have to be there at least 1 hour before the flight time, 11pm. I will need at least 1 hour to drive from here to there, so i have to push off LATEST by 10pm.. BUT due to factors that cannot be predicted along the journey (since i'm no seer or anything XD) we should push off at least 30 minutes earlier than that!

The scheduled time for departure from AIMST has been decided to be around 9-9.30 am ^^ Awesomeness.. Eric is driving, and a few people will be tagging along *pauses to think* Hmm.. Not sure WHO, but i'm sure it'll be a wierd journey as not everyone noe each other. I'll have to charge up my Ipod and change the songs that i have in there. Come to think of it, my songs in the iPod are kinda obsolete as i haven't been fiddling around with my iTunes lately.. ^^ A must do tonight..

Might put up something later, if i have some deep thoughs on matters. I think i'll be blogging alot more often in the next 5 years. Due to personal and childhood experiences.. I think anyone would have problems relying and trusting others when you need something done. Just a person to talk and laugh about what ever comes to your mind. Typing it all here sometimes just gives me a equivalent feeling of a shout at the top of my lungs for no apparent reason. Ever got that feeling before?

Tough time~ CA 1 (continuous assessment) around the corner

Hie all ^^ Kumbawaaa~ just having a short break for myself to relieve my aching head *sob sob* reading so much and it seems like i still have so much more to mug up and remember T.T Oh well.. Just a quickie here to show everyone how my life at campus has been.. I have not been too busy so as not to snap an interesting pic when the time comes XD

Today it has been raining the whole morning and i have to say that it was a pleasant change from the one month of hot weather we had.. As per my usual custom on cold and rainy days, i promptly walked to the counter at the cafe after lunch and debated with myself should i buy a "Trophy" or a "Tropicana".. For those abit blur with my short story here, i'll say again that i eat cold ice cream during those nice and lazy, cold and rainy days ^^ WIERD? Oh well, dats my norm, sue me XD Mid autumn festical (moon cake, did i say it right?) It was nice the day before.. take a look~ Nice full moon.. No? On the actual day, it was drizzling thoughout the evening. No moon T.T So me and Eric quietly ate our mooncake and "tea" under the "moonlight".. haha.. No Mr Mah Chin Liang this year to make the room rowdy. Kinda miss u buddy ^^ Like last year when we actually went around parading with our "tanglungs" and burning other people's that were hung up on the tree (hey, they looked abandoned XD)

Long week, just had to update

Its been awhile people ^^ Wow, I dun even have time to upload stuff? Well, the blames on my phone wire which has pretty much put my phone out of action frm delivering all the pics that i took so far XD That includes my raya pics T.T will try to get it out as soon as possible ^^ I just had to write something up to avoid all the dust from accumulating all around my precious blog

Yea dats me ^^ Was out at Pizza Hut today in the afternoon for a short visit to the mall to get my friend's printer an ink upgrade. The 1st place we went to was the place where we bought the printer from.. The guy gave us the price.. Rm150.

We argued that our roommate actually got the same upgrade at the very same shop for the price of rm100!!

he just shrugged and said that it was due to the fact that he upgrade at the same time he bought the printer. We on the other hand bought the printer and came back a week l8r to upgrade.. We looked around *stared at the bugger* and left

The next shop we went gave us the price of rm140.. Pissed off with the other shop, we decided to give this shop the business. Totally regretted it, for to our dismay, the next shop that we visited said that they were able to do it at the price of rm120 *GaspS* You heard that right people~

Special thanks here to Mr Ooi Cheng Lee (joey) for taking the time to make this short trip to the mall wif me and surrej, even though he was very tempted to stay back at the room and take a nap. Well, maybe it was due to the fact that we tempted him with the offer of Pizza hut, on us XD I mean, its fair right? He drives (fuel money and effort) and we have to do sumthin right? You can never go wrong with money / food ^^ Thanks again joey ^^

Entrepreneurship project

Oh well dun we all haf projects? Mine recently was a ten group strong team that was designated to interview a successful entrepreneur (dats a fancy word for business man/woman) XD AND SO! 3 weeks ago we left the campus for dinner and for out appointed time for our interview with Mr Feisal Hilmi..at our beloved local restaurant, Le Boss restaurant
AND we are proud to day that we are now 95% complete! and 1 week before the deadline to boot! wow.. Lookie at the menu!
*stomach gurgles hungrily and fai starts salivatingall over the laptop* omg oMG!! my lappie! T.T oh well, fasting drive one to the brink of appreciation of food.. I'll eat like normal from now on, dat means once in awhile, and CONTROLLED snacking, + exercise, jogging and swimming on a daily basis

Oh ok, i admit, i'm just updating this time for the sake of updating.. Just can't wait to get back home and eat NORMALLY again, after a month of fasting.. + the movies that i am looking forward to in the coming month or so.. one of them?Haha, haf to say i was kinda expecting disny to come up with something like this.. I mean, think about it? 1st it was about bugs (A bug's lie), then it was about dogs with supernatural powers (Bolt), so what is stopping them to start wif super spy guinea pigs? haha


Ok enough of me crapping around abit.. What has been happening to me lately? Hmm, lets start with the fact that i missed to sahur, or some people, the term is "tutup puasa" for 2 days in the last week XD haha, i noe i noe, some people haf gone like "WHAT? u mean u ate only once in the last 24 hours? no water? how can u go through such a thing man?" Oh well, i'm not all hyper all the time right? Can't afford to, well, at least for now *glares around with manic eyes* hehehe~

I have to admit that i am anxious to go home, since i am very attention deprived and not to mention nutritionally malnourished as well.. God, when was the last time i at a bowl of maggi? Hmmm *thinks for a moment* I guess it was during the MBBS orientation week, after our "ice breaking"session with our batch 13 seniors. I gotta tell u man, they really know how to "break the ice"!! By getting u wet, dirty, hungry and tired.. Combo altogether and what do you get?

Fasting is tiring abit, don't you agree?

Hie all ^^ and with regards to the title of this post, I would like to confirm that it is NOT the main reason why I haven't been updating my blog recently..

*Sigh*

Its just that my phone has been acting up again, by saying that the USB phone parent drive cannot be installed, thus no connection to my laptop, and the options that are left includes bluetooth all my photos into my laptop (troublesome) AND SO! i was left with the last and final option..

Taking out the mini memory card from the phone and use the card reader i bought at the pc fair to copy all th photos out.. (this is possible because i set the phone to save all photos taken into the memory card ^^ smart ya?)

Back to my title, and NO it is not tiring because i dun eat/drink throughout the day. The main reason why I'm tired is because I have to get up at 4.30am to eat (hoho, the main reason why i can go for a day without food! the secret is out!! *sniggers*) And here I am, still half asleep, dragging my feet and making my way towards the "oh so far away" cafeteria, which for ur info is like less than 50m away from my room XD OK, enough with my depressing thoughts.. What have i done over the past week?

Lets start with the fact that my Entrepreneurship electif subject has asked us to do a small project on "successful entrepreneuship" and the main highlight is that we have to interview the person on his background, the challenges he faced and his MANY MANY successes? haha.. AND we decided to interview a local restaurant that we thought as a successful restaurant as most of Aimst students have either heard or dined there at least once before.. "Le boss"

Yea, i think i may have posted up a few pics taken from Le Boss last year. Yi Cheng"s bday, ring any bells? So a 4 man team was dispatched by the group (10 people btw) to interview our entrepreneur on the night of Thursday. Little that we know, a big bunch of friends were there too! Celebrating another friend's birthday!! yay, happy bday Bo Bo XD But we were there on "official" business T.T so we couldnt join them for long..

After a grueling 2 hours of interview, we finally finished!! Snapped a shot wif the store owner/manager ^^ Added him on FB and tagged him the pics.. Once again, thnx Abang Feisal..Over the weekend? Eric watched Final Destination 4 on Friday at Seberang Perai!! Was really tempted to go with him, but with fasting and all, i dun think that i'm up to the challenge XD BUT, NO DESPAIR! The show is also showing at Central Square, SP. Sumthin to look forward to i guess XD

Caught the 2.20pm show for Final Destination 4 and the 6.45pm show for UP. Final Destination 4 was grueling, and a hair raising thriller. In short? Amazing i guess? hehe.. UP was ok surprisingly! not too bad.. Maybe abit quiet in the beginning as most of it was abit musical and less talking. Most of the information needed to be delivered to the audience was done so subtlely, I understood how the movie was progressing without asking too many questions..

Went to CS with 3 people on that day.. You remember the "great" Surrej? Eric Teoh and Pala (aka botak) tagged along as well ^^ Do forgive me as i'm quite lazy to day to do a wordy post.. so i'll just post up the picture and say what is going on yea? haha

We left he campus around 11.30am to catch the bus at around 12pm. Sadly tho, the bus never turned up at the bus stop and we ended up taking the cab to CS. Caught the 2.20pm show for Final Destination 4, and decided to get the UP tickets for 6.45pm. In between,i just accompanied the guys for lunch (not like i can eat anyways XD) and snapped some shots..

Eric and Surrej watered and fed ^^ big smiles ppl Then we "merayau-rayau" all over the place until it was almost time. We went to Mcd to get some fries for me to break fast with in the theater. Snapped more pics there.. Me and surrej snapped Pala when he wasn't looking.. Coincidently i saw this sign and i swear it is not edited ^^ Pala had his own branded items? *gasps* I had no idea he was such a successfull ENTREPRENEUR! we should have interviewed him at the room instead of coming all the way out to town to interview Le Boss XDOh, did i mention we bought some cheap shirts that had hilarious gestures on them..

Went back last Friday and cam back to Aimst on our Independance day.. Stuffed myself up with food, and as cousinz came to visit, my will to do revision and read on future lectures was simply dashed away XD What to do? *sigh* oh well, went to catch a movie sincei was back at thome.. Aliens in the attic Not a bad movie if u dun really have other movies in mind to watch.. Other movies on my list include I love you Beth cooper, and District 9.. Not to forget, the highlight of this week, releasing on the 3rd of September 2009, Rest in pieces: Final Destination!! MUAHAHA!! Haf to catch that dis weekend XD

Missing home already.. Well, not really, so let me rephrase that *aheem aheem* Missing the FOOD at home already XD haha..

Oh well, Aimst has kinda become my 2nd home already since we have stayed here like a year for now, and hopefully many years more to come. I mean hw many places can u catch a person like dis!?! HAHAHA, sorry boss, just had to put it up due to self interest, and requests frm certain individuals XD

Hie all ^^ Its been almost 1 week since i started fasting, wow! time just flew by! Only 3 weeks more to go! YES! *drops to the floor* As if time will fly by me that fast, haha..

Anything new? WEll, not really.. Just wanted a place to rant out my feelings of rage due to Aimst's injustice towards hostelers by having their internet connection down throughout the day today.. *rawr* how can they do that? So much for "world class university"!

Dun they noe that internet is IMPORTANT in our learning process?

No joke, we use it literally to obtain our lecturer notes and ppt slides to read up and revise on what was taught earlier on in the day. AND, the internet (which became so unreliable these past few days) is interupting my quest to learn! How @#$% is dat?

On a lighter note, i'll be running off back to home for the weekend and b back at Aimst on Monday *holiday due to national holiday* so people dun miss me XD Will try to snap lots of pics so there will be sumthin for me to update on when i get back to Aimst.

Feel better after i typed sumthin on my blog.. Maybe it has been bugging me that i haven't updated my blog within 3 days XD haha, wierd aint it?

Finally get to update!

Yo all! About time i updated eh? I'm sry for the delay.. My fon has been acting up by saying that the USB drive failed to be loaded. So I sat down today for about 1 hour and tried to figure out how to solve it. After a grueling intense hour, i finally got the fon to connect to the lappie, yay ^^

Orientation? Well the week was pretty much fine. The seniors batch 13 (my batch is batch 15) made us do the normal ice breaking obstacle course and devided us to 8 groups.. my batch is the biggest intake so far, with almost 200 people in one go. The seniors made the ice breaking run all the way from 6pm to 9.30pm, and by that time, i was hungry. AND when I am HUNGRY, i am GROUCHY and ready to lash out at anyone.. I only had enough energy to take a group shot of my group 5 PENTAGON before I stomped off to my room to eat maggi with a dark thunderstorm in my wake.. *scary~*

Well, how am I u say? Well, my new housemates are ok, and they are willing to cooperate to make everyone comfortable, and that is good I guess XD No one's perfect right? We just haf to learn how to co-exist.. Mr smart-@ss surrej as my housemate~ Who wouldn't want such a great housemate? XD My home for the next 5 years? Well, maybe not full time 5 years, it depends where am I posted for clinical studies in the 3rd year onwards.On the night after Medicine, Pharmacy and Dentistry registration was over, we had a small get together consisting of the old Jan08 badge. That's alot of people rite? Well, we had 3 cars to use, so 3 cars worth of people is ALOT! From the left; Cindy, Sharon, Lily, Audrey and InderFrom the left; Steph and Siew voon.. Cindy trying to cover but i got her earlier XD Surrej and Joey totally ignoring me as I snapped away. Hungry ppl are very dangerous, haha~Surrej got attacked by the kid by being bombarded with baloons while he ate his dinner.. He was kewl wif it, I think~ On the 1st weekend, we made our way to Seberang Perai JUSCO. Snapped this picture on the way and thought of Ravin, aka Kambing.. MEEEEK MEEEEK!!

Audrey bought alot of stuff, saying it was for her rommies.. And Eric had his black jelly. Gu ling gao? dunno how to say it XD Apparently it wasn't so bitter since he went frm this..

Haha, well i feel much better now as I am able to blog about sumthin. It has been bugging me lately since i rarely go so long without actually blogging about sumthin.

To add more sugar to the candy, I have finally been exempted from MQA. For those who don't know what MQA is, its old name is LAN, which comprises of Malaysian studies, Islamic studies / Moral studies and Bahasa Malaysia. You will be automaticall be exempted from BM if u get a credit at BM at SPM level. HOWEVER i have sat for LAN back at Taylors University when i was doing A lvls! It took them a week and they still couldn't confirm if u was exempted. I called up the MQA head and established that the difference of the subject code is just to differentiate diploma and degree but the syllabus is EXACTLY THE SAME!!

*sigh* gives a moment to breathe in and exhale*

may I repeat that?

@#$%@#$% and they took more than a week and they STILL couldn't say yes or no! After using this trump card on the staff at SGFS, they confirmed that i have been exempted and i dun haf to attend the classes *jumps with joy* and what about this Essay that i put in around 3-4 hours of work cuz i couldn't confirm if i was exempted? *crumples the papers and throws it away* hehehe~
